Decorated Subway

I've been seeing more subways in New York which are covered in advertisements. Every surface in this one was covered, even the seats and doors. This one looked nice because it was supposed to look like an aquarium. It was a different change from the usual yellow and orange seats!

waouhh. c'est une superbe idée. souvent les gens pensent que le metro newyorkais est triste, mais je trouve qu'il y a beaucoup de superbes stations, et maintenant ces peintures sur les sieges, bravo le metro Newyorkais

waouhh. it is a superb idea. often people think that the subway newyorkais is sad, but I find that there are many superb stations, and maintaining these paintings on the seats, cheer the Newyorkais subway

I like it, and this is the first time I have come across this. Maybe get some pics of the outsides as I understand some of the graffitti on the trains looks good. Does it?

That is interesting! Pretty neat to have artwork sanctioned inside a subway car.

Magnificent this photo of the New York subway,In France we have not decorated the inside of our oars(trains) yet, but it would be a good idea.As what certain ideas are false, the New York subway is also sad, as people often think of it.

This is one of the best example of public art...(Graffiti)!
I also like the reflection of that lady in that window....that created an interest in the image, some kind of movement.
Nicely captured!!

When I was in New York years ago with a friend of mine, we rode on the subway just to say we did it. She wanted to really bad. It was ok. We also hailed a taxi just for the fun it. The good ole days. LOL.

Art in the subway, it is banal, but of art inside extra

the travellers will look at less their book

I don't ride subway trains since I rarely visit large cities -- but I think that this might freak me out [if I were so inclined] - esp. if the subway ran under water!

guess you'd get used it though and if it curbs vandelism then all to the good.
