belle harmonie dans cet alignement de drapeaux americains. C'est impressionnant le nombre de drapeaux US que l'on peut voir à NYC.

Au Whitney Museum (ou il y a une superbe salle dedié à mon peintre prefere : Edward Hopper) on trouve le tableau sublime de Jasper Johns : "Three Flags".

Je ne connais pas cette peinture de Jasper Johns. Le prochaine fois que je visite Le Whitney je devrai le chercher. J’aime l’oeuvre de Hopper aussi. Ce Decembre passé j’ai vu une superbe exposition des travaux de Hopper au Whitney. Un étage entier du musée a été dedié de ses travaux. Peut-être tu l’as vue. Je crois qu’il est fini maintenant, mais c’était magnifique!


I don’t know that painting of Jasper Johns. The next time I visit the Whitney I’ll have to look for it. I love the work of Edward Hopper also. Last December they had an excellent exhibition of Hopper at the Whitney. A whole entire floor of the museum was dedicated to his works. Perhaps you saw it. I think it is finished now, but it was wonderful!

tu as de la chance d'avoir vu cette exposition. j'aurais tant aimer la voir ;o( c'est bete qu'au Whitney on ne puisse pas prendre de photo).

La premiere fois que j'ai visite la salle hopper, le gardien qui etait là, avait vecu dans une maison peinte par Hopper ( "Early Sunday Morning" )

you have chance to have seen this exposure. I would have to so much like to see it; O (it is stupid which in Whitney one cannot take of photograph).

The first time that I have visit the room hopper, the guard which was there, had lived in a house painted by Hopper (“Early Sunday Morning”)

Le guardien a vécu dans la même maison de la peinture de Hopper. C'est très intéressant! En ma photo j'ai été inspiré par Childe Hassam, l'artiste américain qui a fait beaucoup de peintures des drapeaux.


The guard lived in a house painted by Hopper. That's very interesting! In my photo I was inspired by Childe Hassam the American artist who did lots of paintings of flags.
