Columbia C

This is a "C" for Columbia University, seen above the Harlem River on rocks that overlook the Inwood section of Manhattan. Appartently the C was first painted in the 50's and is touched up from time to time by members of the Columbia crew team, who train in the area.

Fun to see they have kept up the tradition, but the one "C" is enough! Nice boat, too!

We have a large B on the mountain behind the Burbank Mall.

I like the C on the rocks. Now that sounds like a drink!! HaHa

Did you see the "L" in the West Maui Mountains behind Lahaina? That's for Lahainaluna High School, and each year the seniors re-paint the "L".
