I passed this store in Tribeca last weekend and the window display was entirely old sewing machines. It was huge! I wish I had gone inside to see them up close. I can't remember the name of the store unfortunately.

That's a lot of sewing..... I have a nice machine, but don't sew as much as I used to. Quilts for the Grandkids, thats about it ~~ I do use it for mending.

From a distance, the photo looks like a pattern of woven cloth! I inherited one of these sturdy beasts and it still get some occasional use!
