I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about this building, other than I think it is a hotel in Soho. I just liked the cloud pattern in this photo. I bet the hotel guests have a great view from up there. I hope you had a great weekend and a great week ahead!

Police Building
Another building I passed the other day during my stroll down Grand Street, was the former Police headquarters building, which was left by the police in 1973 and turned into condominiums in 1987. You can read more about it here. There are 55 luxury apartments inside these days. Wouldn't it be fun to see inside one of them!?

Roses
Even though it is supposed to snow here today, things are still blooming. This is part of an installation by the artist Will Ryman called "The Roses" and the flowers can be found on 10 blocks on Park Avenue. You can read more about it in this New York Times article about the installation. Have a good week.

Mandala
We happened upon this sand mandala at the American Museum of Natural History last weekend. It was so popular, you couldn't even get close to it! At the end of the day they have a ceremony where a monk destroys the mandala, and the sand is put in a jar and later poured in the river. This is done to symbolize the acceptance of impermanence.
