Spiderman

Is that spiderman I just saw flying by?! Kite flying seems to be a very popular past time in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The towers you can see are part of the New York State Pavilion that was designed by Philip Johnson for the 1964-65 World's Fair. The taller tower was the highest point of the fair and held an observation deck for visitors.

Great and funny shot - excellent positioning and the trees in the left foreground give it depth and perspective.

(I hope they find a way to restore those towers and the entire pavillion.)
