U.N. Building

I read that all of the workers at the U.N. General Assembly have cleared out of their building as it is in the midst of a major renovation. This is the U.N. building seen from the East River. I've always wanted to check out the U.N. so I'll have to visit after they've finished.

Nice shot from across the water! I guess that is a must-see while in NYC, even for the locals!

Do you ever run out of things to do an see in NY.... What an amazing place. You have given me a whole new insight over the last couple of years.

Over 50 years old and still a beauty. Yes, you must visit when they reopen, there are quite a few inpressive mid-twentieth century artists work displayed throughout that are worth the visit alone, besides the impressive interior spaces and history.
