Van Gogh

This is a portion of a work I love at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Van Gogh's Wheat Field with Cypresses. I went to the Met for another exhibit last weekend, but somehow I always end up going back to my favorite works each time I visit.

Dear Lori, that’s a great photo of a magnificent painting! I’ve come across your blog while doing research for »Oya«, an independent German magazine I work for. It’s all about making the world a better and a better-looking place. For our upcoming issue, which will be about art, I’m looking for a hi-res photo of van Gogh’s cypresses to illustrate a short essay about the master. The picture should give an idea of his brush strokes and the painting’s »pastosity« (is that what it’s called?). Can you provide us with a hi-res version of your photo? Your help would be really apreciated! You can contact me at: madmatt99@web.de
