Roses

This is a shot taken from the waterfront in Long Island City Queens, which is a very nice place to take a stroll. We're looking out at the East River and in the background you can see the Chrysler building (the pointy building on the left and the United Nations on the right - rectangular building.) The roses were just past their peak and smelled so lovely!

Great shot! The roses remind me of Portland, OR.

Nice shot. The skyscrapers in the background look great.

j'aime bien cette vue, les fleurs font un beau cadre à la Skyline de NYC.
I like very well this view, flowers make a nice frame to the Skyline.

Yes, I also like the contrasts between the soft roses, raw steelwork on the waterfront and then somehow, both combined into the beauty of the midtown skyline. Jay
