Park looking south

This is the park I mentioned earlier this week just south of the George Washington Bridge. Here we are looking south along the Hudson River and this is probably around 170th Street in Manhattan. The little tiny buildings along the left side are Manhattan receding in the background. It looks so tiny from this viewpoint!

A peaceful, paradoxical photo of an idyllic location, seemingly miles away from the bustle of the city, yet only blocks away!

Hi Lori! You don't need to leave Manhattan to find some surprising views. Wonderful!!

Meanwhile Blogtrotter (not me, I’m stuck here ;)) is profiting from the holidays in Lisbon this week and has a tour of Lake Galve, one of the beautiful lakes near Trakai, to show you! Hope you enjoy and have a great week!
