This was the giant screen at the new Citi Field in Queens, home of the New York Mets. As you can see someone had just hit a home run. The apple at the bottom pops up whenever there is a home run. It was a good game, even though the Mets lost (again.)

flaggiThey have been playing well lately, if not winning. Still have not been there, but have been to new Yankee Stadium several times. It is said that Citifield looks like the old Ebbets field on the outside, at least.
I bet it was exciting being there.
It's always fun to go to a major league sporting event! The Big Apple has definitely been a fixture with the Mets since the Shea Stadium days.
Honolulu needs a pro sport franchise! :-)
