Over the weekend we stumbled upon this wedding which began in Central Park and then proceeded up Broadway. (At least we think it was a wedding!) I think that was the groom in the center of the photo.
Agreed, very interesting and colorful, too! From web searches, can't figure out if this is part of a Sikh or Hindu ceremony, but liked this saying from a Sikh wedding page: "They are not said to be husband and wife, who merely sit together. Rather they alone are called husband and wife, who have one soul in two bodies." (Guru Amar Das, Pauri, pg. 788)
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!

It's an Indian -Hindu wedding (if not a photoshoot :D)Sikhs wear different kind of turbans.
