Trinity Churchyard

I'm digging up some old photos out of the archives as I haven't been on any picture taking excursions lately. This is a photo of the churchyard of Trinity Church in lower Manhattan. The statue that you see in the center is John Watts, a New York Congressman who is interred in the cemetary there.

Looks like he is watching over the others, and is at least dressed for the cold!

The statue seems to glow, even in the daylight.

Interesting how these statues "age" over the years. Provides nice texture for your pic.

Happy New Year, Lori!

What a beautiful pic!

Hub & I drove passed a cemetery the other day and I thought of stopping to take a photo of this peaceful place under snow. But the Asian upbringing part of me told me to leave them in peace and have some respect. :p
