This is one of the snowflake decorations they hang above Fifth Avenue in midtown at the holidays. The building on the right is Tiffany & Co. the jewelry store.
Can one image change one's mind? Have never taken to the "snowflake" as a traditional NYC decoration, magnificent as it is, perhaps since it is relatively new to the city and me, vs "The Trees" at R.C., Washigton Park or even L.C. But seeing it this way, in all its icy splendor has me apreciating it in a new light. Thank you!
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!
