Film Festival

Some electronic posters for the New York Film Festival, which just ended yesterday at Lincoln Center. I've always wanted to go! Oh well, maybe next year.

Falcon

This was the falconer at the annual medieval festival that takes place each year in Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan. Wish I knew more about the bird he is holding. Have a good weekend.

Statue

This is a statue I came upon recently in the courtyard of Jim Kempner Fine Art, a gallery on West 23rd Street. I think it's quite beautiful. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the artist. You can read more about the gallery here.

Manhattan Bridge

Sorry for the absence! I ran out of photos but took a few this weekend. These are some sun worshipers relaxing near the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn. Hopefully I have enough photos to last for a few days!

Sunrise

A sunrise photo from a year ago...running low on photos now. This used to be the view from my old apartment, I miss it! I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

East river

A view of Manhattan as seen from Queens. I believe those buildings in the foreground may be Stuyvesant Town, the large complex of residential buildings near 20th Street (but correct me if I'm wrong!)

Trees

I'm not sure why anyone would want to deface a tree like this. Leaving their mark for all posterity I guess. This tree was in Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan.

Palm Court

This is the Palm Court in the Plaza Hotel. I didn't have tea there, was just passing through. Maybe another time! I loved the beautiful ceiling.

Streak across America

I happened to walk past the Dell Streak across America event. Not sure what these mannequins had to do with Dell computers. Anyway, I didn't take the chance to decorate a mannequin as some were doing.

Leaves
