Macarons

In Chelsea there's a shop called La Maison du Macaron with some delicious looking French style Macarons. I didn't taste any but I loved the colorful display in the window. It looks like they've got all kinds of flavors. I must go back. Have a great week!

Had to look them up as I was a bit confused between the USA/English word "macaroon" and French "macaron" and found that their names both come from the Italian "maccarone" or "maccherone." Both involve egg whites and almonds and both confections trace their heritage, in part, to a convent in Nancy, Fr. Eating one would have been more rewarding right now, though!

Hmmmmm, do they all taste the same, only different color, or are there different flavors??? Pretty composition.

These look yummy, but do not make me nears as hungry as those donuts did.
