I'm not sure what this Liberty Bell replica was doing outside the St. Mark's Church-in-the Bowery in the East Village. It was a very nice church from the outside. I must go back and see the inside.
Very Interesting....your dad would be interested in this shot....don't know what its status is, but it has a lot of "bricks", etc., for additional support at the base of the bell.
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!

Your photo makes it look very inviting, another site I must visit, have never even been on the grounds...!
According to their website, "The Bell" dates from 1836; it cracked in the 1978 fire and rang for JFK and MLK, Jr.
