Soldiers and Sailors Monument
This is a photo of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. According to Wikipedia it commemorates the Union Army soldiers and sailors who served in the American Civil War. It was dedicated on Memorial Day, 1902 and takes the form of a Corinthian temple. That's the Hudson River and New Jersey in the background.

What a beautiful monument. The lighting in your photo is great.
This must be nice to see while driving by at night.
Great night shot & well composed! :-)
Everything works here - the river's reflections, the dark cloud pattern in the last gasp of twilight contrasted with the Monument's illumination and notably the photographer's elevated viewpoint. A great dramatic photo!
Beautiful shot and great evening contrast.....we are back from Maine... fantastic time.
Beautiful image, Lori.
