This was opening gala night at the New York City Ballet. No, I wasn't one of those party guests! It was fun to watch them though. There were some great outfits there.
...interesting and prompts three somewhat rhetorical questions! First, did not that woman in the foreground with her back to the camera read her book of etiquette, page 23? "No back scratching at galas, no matter how much it itches!" Second, can the public enter the upstairs gallery after paying a dollar to watch high society gamboling amidst the splendor? Third, in the era and week of grand party crashing as seen in the D. of C., was not the photographer tempted? Surely she would have fit right in!
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!
