Mixture of styles

These are a few of the buildings I saw recently in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan. The building on the left (the IAC Building) was designed by the architect Frank Gehry and was finished, I believe, in 2007. I'd love to go back and see what it looks like at night. I like the mixture of architectural styles amongst the buildings here.

Hey Miss B -- we were in Chelsea in May this year on a sunset cruise and took a picture of that building as we left the pier - not quite dark, but dusk. Here is a link to the pics in flikr - the one on the angle was an attempt to fit the whole building in ... enjoy!

Neat shot! A little of the past meets the present and future.

un beau mélange de plusieurs style d'architecture, j'aime bien the IAC Building, il est vraiment très beau.
NYC est toujours en mouvement, dans un an le IAC sera un vieux building.

I like how you placed it in context with the older architecture, forming a new composition of your own, rather than simply recording the new building alone in an artful way.

Yes, you must photograph it at dusk and dark; to me it once appeared as a melting cube of ice!
