This was the scene at the U.S. Open tennis tournament over the weekend in Flushing, Queens. The matches were totally rained out yesterday, hopefully they'll have better luck with the weather today.

I would imagine they were rained out again as it has rained here constantly for two days. Pretty place ... never saw this pic of the grounds.
This photo reminds me of days at the '64-'65 NY Worlds Fair there when I was a kid. I can hear the jingle blaring from the louspeakers as we entered from the large ramp, "Pick up your maps and pick us your guide books..." LOL!
