Aren't these cows pretty? They are a breed called Belted Galloways. They have nice fuzzy ears which you can't see in the photo.

There is something about cows that make me want to hug them.
Funny shot! :-D Interesting how the white band only goes around its mid-section.
Their coat looks a bit shaggy, too. I wonder if their white bands are larger porcasting when the winter will be colder, LOL!
I did not know of the breed before, but read that there are less than 10,000 world wide and considered rare.
