I haven't read the book you mentioned either, and I've never been to NYC other than to change planes so this is new to me.

Judging by the white 18-wheeler's cab on the bridge above and comparing to the lighthouse, I'd estimate the lighthouse to be around 40-50feet tall. The cab of a truck like that is generally 13-14 feet tall, and the lighthouse looks to be three or four times the height of the truck.JAMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04272374108524693575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475053903306163900.post-57982770964710801422007-06-21T21:19:00.000-05:002007-06-21T21:19:00.000-05:00nice pic..and beautiful story..nice pic..and beautiful story..Someone in Al Ainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521678957374565230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475053903306163900.post-53986293735534496522007-06-21T03:36:00.000-05:002007-06-21T03:36:00.000-05:00I have not been over to your blog in a few days an...I have not been over to your blog in a few days and so I have a lot of catching up to do!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640362402042596214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475053903306163900.post-52871506657795671442007-06-21T03:35:00.000-05:002007-06-21T03:35:00.000-05:00I never realize how tall the George Washington bri...I never realize how tall the George Washington bridge is, the last time I was on that bridge was doing rush hour back in 1981 sitting in a rig (18-wheeler) and all I could feel was the constant shaking the whole time we were stuck at a stand still on that bridge.

And to think there is a little red light house underneath which is something I never knew about.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640362402042596214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475053903306163900.post-43416102946206135842007-06-20T22:39:00.000-05:002007-06-20T22:39:00.000-05:00I find the photo absolutely fantastic; definitely ...I find the photo absolutely fantastic; definitely one that draws your imagination.
